It’s been a while since my last post. Now that school has started, I should have more to talk about. My winter break was great. The only downer was that I wanted to sleep in a little more, but couldn’t. The highlight of my winter break was that I got to play with a remote control car.
I have some good news today. I finally got off my butt and applied

My apologies to all. I’ve been away from my journal for almost a week. I thought I’d treat everyone to an explanation. I’m pretty sure you’ve noticed that I sometimes laugh at a random moment. There is a good reason for this. I have a lot going through my little head (mostly quotes). Here are some of those quotes that pop into my head throughout the day.
“Have you ever

I just saved myself from making a $350+tax mistake.
I’m pretty sure everyone has seen those cool looking, 9-inch screen, lightweight laptops that are referred to as netbooks. These little things are really cool. Great for travel, a student that needs a computer in all classes, very compact, and a rock bottom price. In general, you would think that the smaller the computer gets, the more money you would pay

It’s finally 2009!!!
I have to get used to saying 2009, now. I remember last year, I kept on saying 2007 unitl it was March.
So… New year’s resolutions. The last real one I had was back in high school, which was to get a car. I had a bunch of weird resolutions in the past. One of them was to avoid all of the cracks in the sidewalks. Another one was

Planned Obsolescence: the process of a product becoming obsolete and/or non-functional after a certain period or amount of use in a way that is planned or designed by the manufacturer.
This is the classic definition of planned obsolescence. Based on products. A couple of months ago, I realized how true planned obsolescence is when we relate it to people/employees.
Take CEOs for example. They have become

“All humans live by sacrificing someone in the end.”
What is this supposed to mean??? Right off the bat I can say that I don’t agree with it. Whoever was the first guy to think about this must have a few screws loose. For the people doing the sacrificing, there may be nothing wrong with this logic, but what about the people being sacrificed? We can’t just ignore them. I think

The five stages of group development. In one of my earlier journals, I mentioned that one of my professors believed that our friends and classmates become our competition after graduation. I still disagree with that professor.
Out of all of the things I don’t believe from that professor, I can’t deny the truth behind this model.
As our relationships between group members or employees increases

Today was the first real round of finals. I had a final last Friday, but that class was a joke. I needed a D+ to keep my grade and I took the final like I only needed a D+. I was the second person to hand in their test.
I had the hardcore finals today though. BUS 162 and BUS 161B. The 162 final was easier than I thought it would

What would Dennis be like in 10 years???
Well… I might be married. Might have 4 kids, and maybe a vasectomy. Enough joking around. Here’s what I want to be like in 10 years.
I want a one story house. What good are stairs when I get really old? And it feels good to have my kids run around the house knowing that there’s no staris to fall off on. I do

Graduation time….
Do our friends and classmates really become our competition after graduation??? Although one of my professors really believe this comment, I don’t. The best part about school is making connections. You never know what friends open doors for you. It could be that really weird person in the corner that can give you the opportunity to have a stable job at a large company.
Here is the way I see
