What a way to end my semester. I had another embarassing day in class. Once again, I could not stop laughing. This all started during a presentation about Whole Foods. The team had this sound that was triggered everytime the slide changed. To everyone else, the sound was cute, but I was thinking of something else when I heard that sound. I forget what movie this was, but everytime this guy saw a girl that he liked, that sound would come up. This movie was not in theatres because it was one of those movies for adults. After I heard that noise, I kept on laughing and I drew this stick figure saying “Do me, stud!!!”. To make things even worse, one of my friends said that our professor has a nice body. I never considered it until my friend mentioned it. So I started checking out our professor. I have to admit, she was right about our teacher having a nice figure. She would be a MILF if she had a man in her life. Enough with this idle chit chat. I came across an important issue today.
I realized that it really is the simplest things that make me happy. I can have a Mercedes, or have stacks of cash, but neither can give me acceptance. I think today I just got lucky after my little fiasco in BUS 161B. I actually had a conversation at the supermarket with a woman today. Eventhough I have a soft spot for older women, this young lady showed me that young women do have some qualities of older women that I like. It was great the way she opened the conversation. She came up and said, “I thought your kind was a dying breed.” What she meant was males doing the grocery shopping and cooking. We had such a good conversation, but my idiocy knows no bounds. I did not get her number. She gave me so many opportunities to ask for it, but I didn’t see it. She was talking to me about restaraunts, favorite movies, and potlucks. The point of this situation was that this lady saw me for me. She knew nothing about my social class or future plans. No amount of money can buy what I got at the supermarket.
