Your first kiss. How was it?
I was supposed to write on this topic for Valentine’s Day, but I got caught up in my school work.
The first kiss that I ever gave out was to one of my friends in high school. She asked me why I never got affectionate with her. I was thinking to myself, “Because I like our relationship as friends.” At the time, I didn’t have an answer for her, so I took action. I kissed her on the forehead. That was the very first kiss that I gave out and it was not for a family member. The first kiss that I ever received happened right after I gave out my first kiss. She returned the favor to my lips.
What is the point of the story that I just told? The point is that there are many different kinds of kisses.
Here are some of the kisses that I’ve had experience with. Kissing someone’s hand is to show respect. Kissing someone’s forehead is a sign of friendship. On the lips is for affection. (The day someone kisses my neck is the day I have handcuffs and blindfolds ready…) Personally, I don’t have a “favorite” kiss because each one is different from each person.
Overall, I’m very happy about the first kiss that I gave out. The first one I received was a little bit surprising. My friend almost ruined the moment for me. If I didn’t like the kiss, then the moment would have been ruined. There are some relationships that should stay at the friendship level.
I won’t sit around and explain all of the different kinds of kisses and their meanings because there is no right or wrong meaning. I’ll let you decide that.
