Now that that is out of my system, I have an announcement to make. I am starting a second blog. Currently, it’s a blog where I talk shit about games that I actually like. How long will this last? There is only so much shit I can talk about. Feel free to read it at http://dennis.webhop.net/games. This will eventually be changed. I want to start a second blog, but I’m still trying to figure out what “it” is.

I’m pretty sure everyone has been in the following situation. Being corrected in the middle of class. Whether it’s from your teacher or a fellow student, it’s not the most refreshing feeling. What makes it worse is when someone tries to fight for their obviously wrong answer, especially arguing against the professor. You can’t BS your professor. They know so much about their topic, it’s almost pointless to argue something that is wrong. I do find it entertaining to watch someone try to argue there point. The most entertaining part is when they start arguing at the tiniest details, such as a grammatical error.

Your professor is not there to embarrass you. They corrected you because they want you to learn. These situations don’t have to be embarrassing. Although answering incorrectly, you will look more educated than trying to build a case around something incorrect.

Weird/stupid questions. Not to be mean, but there are such things as stupid questions. In class, any question could be asked, given that the question is relevant to the course/topic. Then again, are these questions stupid because we are not able to comprehend them? Looking back at one of my classes, there is a student that would ask questions, but everyone would laugh. Personally, I think the questions are so out of the box, they only appear irrelevant. The types of questions that were being asked are testing the concepts/principles that are being demonstrated in class. Also, these questions that are being asked are always asking the same question, “Why?”
