Pumpkin Cheesecake

pumpkin cheesecake

The smell of cranberries, corn, stuffing, and turkey. Thanksgiving day is finally here. What Thanksgiving feast would be complete without dessert?

Every year I always try to make something that is very unique, yet somewhat traditional. At the same time, I also notice that there is someone that always buys a pumpkin pie from a supermarket. There is almost no love when meals are purchased on Thanksgiving day, plus it’s more fun to make everything.

This year, I decided to make a pumpkin cheesecake. To me, it’s different, but still resembles a traditional Thanksgiving dish. Lots of cinnamon and nutmeg was put into this cheesecake. Like any other cheesecake that I make, it is not meant for people that are on a strict diet.

My favorite part of this cheesecake is the crust. I had a chance to do some experimenting with the topping. It’s a mixture of cranberry sauce and orange juice. According to the family, it’s a winner.

Whipped cream makes everything better…
